About a week ago, they did not know each other. Tonight, they present to us the culmination of days’ worth of interaction and collaborations.
We caught up with some of our German counterparts to hear their expectations of the project, and for them to tell us a little more about their work.
Amewu was born and raised in Berlin, and is the only MC in the group. These are his expectations of the project, as well as his take on what a German sound is.

Akua Naru, is an African-American poet and rapper, took a detour from her world tour onto the DExZA project. She is passionate about telling the story of black women around the world. Here are her thoughts on the matter, as well as her expectations of the project.
